Canvases let Cursor respond with interactive visual artifacts like dashboards, tables, diagrams, and charts. The same release also improves tiled layout, upgraded voice input, branch selection, and diff-to-file navigation.
This makes it easier to run several agents in parallel without losing context. It also reduces mistakes when starting work on the wrong branch and helps teams compare agent outputs side by side.
Try canvases in Cursor 3.1 if you want richer agent outputs than plain text. Teams using multiple agents should also switch to the tiled layout and branch picker right away.
